The Stirling Campus Library will remain open til 2am as advertised tonight.

The building will be open but frontline services from the Information Centre are not available.  Self issue and self return machines will be available.

Due to severe weather the Information Centre will close at 3.30pm today. It may also be necessary to close the Library building at short notice. We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but it is essential to ensure that staff can travel home safely.

The University of Stirling is a charity registered in Scotland, number SC 011159.

Due to the inclement weather conditions the Highland Health Sciences Library will be closed tonight (Monday 29/11/10) at 6pm.

To allow staff to travel home in daylight, the Information Centre will close today at 3.30pm.

It is still possible that the Library building will have to close early - any further updates will be posted on this blog and on our facebook page.

Due to ongoing difficulties in staff getting into work today, and the severe weather forecast for early evening, it is highly likely that the Stirling campus library will close early today.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  We will update the IS news blog and our facebook page when we have more information.

The Stirling campus library is open today but with a minimal level of staffing due to the ongoing severe weather.

Some services may be affected as a result and the decision to close the Library may be taken should the weather start to deteriorate any further.

We will update this blog and our facebook page (University of Stirling New Library Project) should the situation change.

The evening security team have made it into the Library so the building is still open.  If however, the weather conditions deteriorate significantly over the course of the evening, they may take the decision to close the Library early.

The Library on Stirling campus may have to close at 7pm this evening or earlier (not 2am as advertised) if the current weather conditions deteriorate any further.  This is due to difficulties in staffing the building.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
