**UPDATES AT BOTTOM**
We are sorry to say that the following houses in Lyon Crescent have today suffered an equipment failure and this is unlikely to be fixed until Monday at the very earliest.
The following houses are affected:
19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39 and 41
The failure is in a roof mounted laser link which was fitted by an external contractor so we are unable to make a repair ourselves and will have to wait until the contractor can come to the site.
We apologise for this inconvenience.
Wednesday 24/10: 13.00: The contractor has repaired the equipment failure so service should be restored at the affected houses. If you are still experiencing problems, please reboot your device in the first instance.
Tuesday 23/10: 13:30: A contractor will be visiting site tomorrow morning (Wednesday) to diagnose the fault and hopefully to fix it. It is hoped that service will be resumed later tomorrow. Our network staff will also be on site to oversee the work and ensure that the connections are working after the work is done. We will also be putting in place equipment to use as a backup should a similar problem occur in the future.
Monday 22/10; 5pm: Systems and Network Services are attempting to find a contractor who can attend site to assess the situation with the network at Lyon Crescent. We are doing everything we can to get somebody on site urgently.
