This is a follow up to our post earlier today re the failure of student file store. The diagnostic which is running on the student server has not yet finished so we are going to have to leave it running overnight.
We will then review the situation first thing tomorrow morning.
As the afternoon has progressed, we have learned that the student lab machines are not coping well with documents due to the integration with student home folders, so OneDrive, student printing, documents in Succeed and various applications have been affected. Students are therefore advised to use their own personal equipment for working with documents, if at all possible.
Again, we apologise for this inconvenience and will be in touch again tomorrow morning.
